Storm Wilson, PT, DPT, OCS: Physical Therapist, Running Specialist and Founder of MOTiV
MOTiV was founded by Storm Wilson, a board-certified orthopedic clinical specialist, certified running gait analyst and endurance coach, to give active people one-on-one care in Chattanooga.

Who is Storm Wilson?
Storm Wilson, PT, DPT, OCS is the physical therapist who founded MOTiV and treats every client one-on-one. Storm is a board-certified orthopedic clinical specialist, a Level 2 certified running gait analyst and a certified endurance running coach.
Storm has practiced since August 2018. He was Director at X3 Performance and Physical Therapy and a staff PT at Physician Rehab Solutions / Dickson Medical Associates and Results Physiotherapy.
"The reason I started MOTiV is because I wanted to create as much of a perfect situation for my clients as possible. And by owning the clinic, you can essentially do whatever your vision is."
What does MOTiV stand for and how did it start?
MOTiV means "MOTion is Vital," with a lowercase i. Its guiding message is "Move Better. Perform Better. Live Better." The clinic opens October 26, 2026 as a self-pay practice inside Be Strong in Chattanooga.
Storm founded MOTiV to put his vision for a client visit into practice. The clinic pairs one-on-one physical therapy with running gait analysis, return-to-sport testing and performance coaching, plus a coaching app that keeps clients connected to their training between visits.
Being inside Be Strong is the point of the location. In Storm's words: "clients have access to physical therapy, performance coaching, personal training, and nutrition support in one setting." Be Strong coaches provide in-person personal training. MOTiV coaching is virtual.
Who is MOTiV for?
Anyone motivated to move better. That includes people new to exercise, parents, students and regular gym-goers as well as competitive runners and HYROX athletes. Being elite is not a requirement.
